Musika Natin, in Filipino, means Our Music.
Musika Natin is an album series whose sole aim is to make a sonic record of the works of some of the greatest Filipino composers. Some of these works have never been recorded. Most, in fact, exist only in written form - fading ink written on crumbling music sheets tucked away in the archives of national libraries, unheard and unappreciated.
Musika Natin aims to record great Filipino musical works as they were meant to be heard - performed live, by Filipino musicians, under the baton of a Filipino conductor - for the benefit of future generations, for all to hear and appreciate the genius of the Filipino musician.
